I have dehydrated many things over the years, but not kiwis. The flavor was tart, which could be balanced with some sugar in the future. I tend to be a purist when dehydrating. I try to not add loads of sugar and toppings, just dehydrate in the natural state.

I also dehydrated bananas to use either in trail mix or to take along as a snack for all of my many road trip adventures this summer! After the bananas were chopped I soaked them in lemon juice for 5 minutes to help keep them from browning.


All loaded up and ready to go! Most dehydrators work best with at least 4 trays loaded.I dehydrated at 135 degrees for 10 hours, but you will need to read your specific dehydrator's manual to see what temp and time will work for you!
