Chocolate Banana Pancakes

This past Saturday I finally had the time, space, and energy to try a new recipe. I adapted the recipe some, layered with peanut butter instead of Nutella, and didn't make the most beautiful pancakes in the world, but they were tasty.

For me, it was the rhythm of having a hot cup of coffee with steamed milk while lazily making a great breakfast to enjoy. The morning brought a few nieces and my sister-in-law over as well, so it truly was a kick-back, comfy clothes type of Saturday...just what I needed.
